C&M Spring was founded by George Chase and William Moir in 1962. From it's inception, the company has developed a reputation of producing high quality springs, wireforms, flatforms, stampings and assemblies. By 1966, in an effort to handle increasing sales and production needs, C&M moved into a 5,500 square foot facility and increased it's staff to 35 full time employees, some of whom have been with the company for over 20 years.
Another expansion in 1982 doubled the size of the manufacturing plant to a total of 11,000 square feet. In 1985, the company was sold to Paul Lockhart and Fred Rowen, who brought with them over 30 years of combined experience in the spring industry.
In 1997, Fred Rowen retired after many years of service in the spring industry.
Paul Lockhart assumed the position as President and Steven Damico was named Vice President
In January 2002 C & M Spring moved to a new facility in Chino California.
This 15,000 square foot building has allowed the company room for additional growth.
